University Dining Services  of Oklahoma State University  has opened a new convenience store concept in Cowboy Mall, just north of campus.

Formerly Aggie Stop, the store had been in operation for decades. After being purchased by OSU at the end of 2012, the store underwent a deep clean and remodel that lasted two months. The store is now completely transformed and gleams in white, lime green and orange. After a soft-opening on January 17, the Grand Opening is now scheduled for March 11-15.

Daily specials, such as free coffee with a muffin purchase, will run the entire Grand Opening week. Please visit the UDS website at http://dining.okstate.edu for a list of all the specials. As another incentive to drive customers in the door, daily entries will be accepted in a drawing for an Amazon Kindle, courtesy of Pepsi®. The random drawing will take place on
March 25. No purchase is necessary.

Located at Hall of Fame and Monroe, the location is particularly attractive those living in OSU housing north of Hall of Fame, off-campus students using the Transportation Terminal, as well as non-student Stillwater residents. The store features several designated parking spaces so customers can get in and out quickly, even at the busiest times of day.

The store is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Express It! offers everyone’s favorite convenience store products, plus freshly-made grab and go items like Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps and Chef Salad with Ham and Turkey. There’s also a hot breakfast available every morning.

UDS signature product line Made In Oklahoma is featured at the store. Terry Baker, Director of Dining Services explains, “Made In Oklahoma  products are manufactured in our great state and encourage people to support their local economy.”  Some Made In Oklahoma products that can be found at Express It! include Ralph’s beef jerky, Henderson coffee, and Ivy Acres cage-free eggs.

Another signature product line available at the new store is Choose Orange. With many students looking for ways to eat healthier, UDS created the Choose Orange program to designate products that are healthy choices that meet the U.S. Dietary Guidelines. Items that qualify for the Choose Orange seal include fruits, vegetables, calcium-rich foods, whole grains, and lean proteins.

Some Choose Orange products that are offered at Express It! are Go Lean Kashi granola, Clif bars, Food Should Taste Good chips, and Bare Fruit organic dried fruit.
