Two pasture-based dairy producer discussion groups meet monthly in southern Missouri, one in the southwest part of the state and the other in the south central region.  Producers may contact Ted Probert at 417-741-6134, Tony Rickard at 417-847-3161 or Stacey Hamilton at 417-466-2148 for information about these group meetings.  Additionally, University of Missouri Extension personnel invite the public to attend a dairy field day scheduled for June 20, 2013, in Mount Vernon, Mo., at the University of Missouri Southwest Center.  The day’s program will include discussion on a variety of forage related topics and other profitable dairy management practices.
