INGREDIENTS:

1/2 pound diced bacon

1 pound lean ground beef

1 C diced onion

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/8 tsp garlic salt

1 C sour cream

Hot, cooked, buttered noodles

Poppy seeds to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Sauté bacon in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add grounded beef and onion; crumble beef as it cooks. Cook slowly until onion is golden and ground beef as browned, about 15 minutes. Drain and discard fat. Add chicken soup, salt, pepper and garlic salt; heat until bubbly. Just before serving, stir in sour cream, then heat to simmering point. Toss hot buttered noodles with poppy seeds to taste, top noodles with ground beef mixture.
