INGREDIENTS:

1 pound lean ground beef

1 can bakes beans (16 ounce)

1 C barbecue sauce

2 C Bisquick

2/3 C milk

1 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened

1/2 C Shredded cheddar cheese, about 2 ounces

DIRECTIONS:

In a 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir baked beans and barbecue sauce into the beef. Heat to a boil, stirring occasionally. Pour into an ungreased 2-guart-casserole dish. In a medium bowl, stir Bisquick, milk and butter until a soft dough forms. Drop dough by the spoonful onto the top of the beef mixture. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes, or until topping is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for an additional 3 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
