What is your involvement in agriculture?

“My sister and I raise Nubian goats and Angus beef cows. We show at counties fairs. We have one Nubian buck named Resolution and seven nannies. We also have 24 chickens and sell eggs. We also have three pigs; we will butcher two and breed one.”

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture and living on a farm?

“I love showing and playing with the babies.”

What are your future plans?

“When I grow up, I want to have a dairy goat farm and sell milk. I want to be in FFA when I go to high school. I also want to go to college, be a dairy goat judge and a mom one day.”

Where have you learned more about agriculture?

“I have learned a lot from my 4-H activities and at Beef Cow Camp. I have also learned a lot from my mom and dad, and my sister.”

Awards you’ve received from showing?

“I have won showmanship at different county fairs, grand champion goat awards, goat herdsman at the Dallas and Laclede county fairs in 2017, and my sister and I won the First Annual Jerry Taylor award at the Dallas County Fair in 2017.”
