Ingredients:

2 C. flour

1 C. milk

2 C. cornmeal

2 eggs

4 tsp. baking powder

2 cans Rotel

1 tsp. salt

1/4 C. chopped onion

1/4 C. sugar

3 Tbsp. chopped jalapenos

1/3 C. oil or butter

Directions:

Mix the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and sugar. Then mix the oil, milk and eggs. Combine the two mixtures. Then add the remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased 8-inch cast-iron skillet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
