OFN Staff Favorite

Ingredients:

• 1/3 C unsalted butter, room temperature

• 2/3 C firmly packed brown sugar

• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

• 2/3 C all-purpose flour

• 6 Tbsp whipping cream

• 1 C mini marshmallows

• 1/3 C shortening

• 1 egg

• 1 C graham crackers

• 1/4 tsp salt

• 9 ounces chocolate pieces

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, shortening, brown sugar, egg and vanilla in a medium bowl. Beat until blended. Combine graham cracker crumbs, flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix at low speed until blended. Spread dough into greased 9-by-13 baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and set (the center will be a little soft). Cool completely. Mix whipped cream, chocolate and marshmallows. Pour over the top of the cooled crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until marshmallows are bubbling. Cool and cut into squares.
