Tell me about your family farm: “We have Hereford and Angus cattle, and run about 100 to 150 head,” said Kendra. “The name of our farm is Cotton Town Farms.”
What are some of the organizations you belong to?
“I belong to 4-H and FFA, am a member of the Junior Hereford Association and also Junior Cattleman’s Association.”
What are some of your accomplishments?
“Well, I won Grand Champion Reserve in 2009 at the State Fair,” she said. “I also won the showmanship contest. Then in 2010, I won Grand Champion with a bull that I showed in Logan County.”
How long have you been showing cattle?
“I have been showing cattle since I was 5 years old, I really enjoy it. I want to have a ranch of my own someday,” replied Kendra.
