STILLWATER, Okla. – It is that time of year when Cowboys from all over the country gather in Stillwater at Oklahoma State University to celebrate “America’s Greatest Homecoming Celebration.”

This year’s theme is “The Life, The Legend, The Legacy,” and will take place Oct. 20. Alumni from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources are invited participate in the festivities, including the Annual Alumni Meeting and Barbecue.

“This event provides an excellent opportunity for alumni and friends of agriculture to visit and learn what is happening in the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, and to enjoy a good time,” said Mike Woods, DASNR interim vice president, dean and director.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and children under 6 years old eat free. The meeting and barbecue will begin immediately following the football game if the kickoff is at 12 p.m. or earlier, or 3 hours prior to a 12 p.m. or later kickoff.

Sponsored by the CASNR Alumni Association, the event will take place in the Wes Watkins Center on the northeast corner of Washington Street and Hall of Fame Avenue.

“The purchase of your reservation will assist the Alumni Board with financial support of other activities within CASNR such as the CASNR Round Up, Senior Awards, Exemplary Faculty Awards, Early Career Achievement Awards and the Access Tour,” Woods said.

Reservations are non-refundable and phone reservations will not be accepted. Early reservations are encouraged.
